Kyosei: all people, regardless of race, religion or culture, harmoniously living and working together into the future
At Canon Virginia, Inc. we never lose sight of the responsibility we have not just to our customers, but to our society and our environment. As part of the Canon family, it’s what has guided us for the last 20 years. It’s also what has made us better and smarter.
Because of kyosei, we were early pioneers in Reverse Logistics—first for our own products and now for other companies. By finding ways to prolong the usefulness of products, we’re supporting broader corporate sustainability initiatives. By recycling, we’re creating less waste. And by always looking for a better, smarter way to do things, we’re conserving energy and resources, too.
Because of kyosei, we’re also doing what we can to make a better future for those in the community in which we live and work. Being an environmental steward is one way; creating jobs and opportunities is another. But kyosei goes well beyond that, through every level of our company, whether it’s being an Adopt-a-School partner, walking countless miles for the March of Dimes or doing what we can to make sure no table is without thanks each Thanksgiving.
Because of kyosei—our determination to live and work together for the common good—we’re not just the kind of company that you want working in your community or working toward a better environment, we’re the kind of company that you want working for you.
