As part of our commitment to quality and the environment, Canon Virginia is ISO 9001 and 14001 certified. To better serve our customers, we are also working on achieving our ISO 13485 certification.
ISO 9001 Certification
ISO 9001 specifies requirements for a quality management system for any organization that needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide a product that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements and aims to enhance customer satisfaction. The quality system focuses only on the processes and organization, but not on the quality of the product. As part of our commitment to quality, Canon Virginia is proud to have achieved ISO 9001 certification.
ISO 13485 Certification
ISO 13485 specifies requirements to meet a quality management standard for medical devices. In an effort to better serve our markets and customers, Canon Virginia, Inc. is currently in the process of achieving this certification.
ISO 14001 Certification
ISO 14000 is a series of international standards on environmental management that provides a framework for the development of an organization's environmental management system and auditing process. ISO 14001 is the cornerstone standard of the ISO 14000 series. It specifies a framework of control for an environmental management system that can be certified by an independent third party. Canon's major production sites worldwide—including Canon Virginia—have obtained ISO 14001 certification.
